Comdata SmartSite Recognized by CSP Magazine
Fuel Site Controller Technology Selected as Finalist for Best New Product
Brentwood, Tenn.— August 12, 2014
Comdata announced that SmartSite, its fuel site controller system, has been named a finalist in the 2014 CSP Retailer Choice Best New Product awards. Selected in the technology hardware category, finalists were chosen by the publication on the basis of their innovation, uniqueness and groundbreaking advancement.
Comdata, a leading provider of technology for the fuel industry, introduced its SmartSite equipment for unattended fueling sites last year. SmartSite processes diesel, gasoline and natural gas transactions from popular fleet, retail and proprietary fueling cards and allows fuel site owners to remain in communication with the fuel site. SmartSite provides the ability to monitor transaction data and pump controls in real time as well as manage site maintenance remotely through a robust Web portal, setting it apart from most other site controller systems.
As a leader in fleet and fuel merchant solutions with more than four decades of experience, Comdata provides tools and data to help customers drive successful business operations. Randy Morgan, executive vice president of fleet at Comdata, expressed his excitement for CSP’s award nomination.
“We always strive to provide our customers with the data they seek, helping them maintain connectivity and operate efficiently with their unattended fueling locations,” Morgan said. “This nomination is a testament to that effort, and we are honored to be chosen as a finalist.”
Winners for the CSP program will be selected by retailers in the convenience channel, with voting available until September 10 at www.cspnet.com/2014bestproducts. The winning products will be announced during the 2014 NACS show in October.
