Comdata Health to Present during the 2014 Card Innovation Summit
Landon Gordon to discuss the advantages virtual card payments offer payer and provider organizations
Brentwood, Tenn. – January 27, 2014
Comdata Health, a division of Comdata Inc., a leading business-to-business provider of innovative electronic payment solutions, will be participating in an educational session during this year’s Card Innovation Summit. The session, taking place from 11:15-12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, in Tempe, Ariz., will examine how virtual payments using credit card networks offer healthcare payer and provider organizations unique advantages over other methods of electronic funds transfer (EFT).
“US healthcare and insurance claim payments are one of the most complicated accounting practices in the world, and we are dedicated to teaching all summit participants how virtual card payments have helped to address these challenges,” says Ragui Selwanes, senior vice president of Comdata Health. “Session attendees will gain a full understanding of how virtual payments are applied in healthcare and how similar obstacles faced by other industries can be overcome.”
During the event, Landon Gordon, vice president of Comdata Health, will discuss the challenges and successes experienced by healthcare organizations implementing virtual payments to drive improved AP payments in a complex and regulated market. Landon will also discuss how these lessons learned present opportunities for other industries to take advantage of virtual payments, an efficient, cost-effective payment method that can be applied to any organization's unique business strategy.
